The Northern Manor wants to thank everyone over the years for your friendship and support. Due to many reasons we have sold our dogs and are no longer breeding Siberian Huskies and/or Norwegian Elkhounds. We would be happy to recommend you to some caring breeders if you are interested.
Recommended Breeders: Quiquen Norwegian Elkhounds: J. Paul Woito has been a friend of ours since 2003. We bought our beautiful Moonlight from him and he has been a fabulous friend to Matt and I over the years. He has taken Moonlight back and has a small breeding kennel in Canada. He is a devout and dedicated Norwegian Elkhound breeder. His e-mail is: quiquenelkhounds@hotmail.com. Hestsko Norwegian Elkhounds: Dot Wallace is a very special, kind, and good hearted person and breeder. I have only known her since 2007, and she has been very dear to me and the friendship I have built with her has been very much so appreciated. J.Paul Woito from Quiquen Elkhounds introduced the two of us and we thought we would all work together to improve the elkhound breed and to continue to love them, but again due to unforeseen things Matt and I decided to stop breeding. Dot will help you in any way she can her contact information is: http://www.hestskokennels.com Windy Cove Kennel Norwegian Elkhounds: I have known Marie Peterson since 2003, and I have nothing but good things to say about her and her family and her dogs. Marie and her husband have been dedicated to the Norwegian Elkhound breed for many years. Marie and Joe Peterson's information is: http://www.windycove.com Highland Elkhounds Norwegian Elkhound Kennel: Andrea Schokker has been very helpful over the years. I have known her and she is a very good breeder. She can also lead you to contact with Skye Masson who has our Fantasy dog and I know that Skye and Andrea are both very dedicated and caring breeders. http://www.highland-farm.net/norelk Elkhound Bound Norwegian Elkhounds: Tracy McIntosh and her husband, Scotty, bought our beautiful girl Ebony from us in March 2008. They have given her a terrific home and they currently have a litter of Norwegian Elkhound pups with Ebony and their first Norwegian Elkhound, Titan. They are very nice people; please visit their website and contact them if you are interested. http://www.elkhoundbound.synthasite.com/index.php Disclaimer: I have put this list of breeders that I have met over the years or have spoken to for your convenience. I am not responsible for anything that happens before, during, or after you purchase your puppy from these breeders or any other breeder. I only put this list together to be helpful to future people who are looking for a puppy to add to their family. I also would highly recommend that you visit a facility prior to purchasing your puppy, have a list of questions you may want to ask ANY breeder before buying, and make sure you know what their health guarantee is and if they vet check their puppies before you purchase a pup from them as a lot of breeders do not and it is good to know all details before hand. If there is a breeder you would like to know how I honestly feel about them I will be glad to tell you if they are not listed here please just e-mail me northernmanor@thenorthernmanor.com. I have only listed the breeders I know and have had communication with over the years or that now own my past breeding dogs. If I have sold you a full registration breeding dog and you have pups let me know and I will add you to our list of recommended breeders. FYI~Ebony is also at a small breeding kennel and so is Wild One, but these kennels do not have websites. If you would like to have contact with these kennels Ebony is in Cincinnati, OH and Champion Windy Cove Dasher's Morgan (Wild One) is in Mississippi. Both have OFA good hips. Just e-mail me and I will get you into contact with these breeders who bought our dogs. Again thanks for all of your friendship and support over the years and though we would have loved for years to come to work with our animals due to many painful circumstances and life changes we had no choice, but to make these changes and to do what we felt was best for our dogs and what was necessary for us.
